Before explaining why y'all may have missing emails it is worth understanding the deviation between Outlook and Outlook.com....

Back in 1997 Microsoft launched a costless spider web-based e-mail service chosen Hotmail.  It was designed to be accessed via the hotmail website (therefore called webmail).  And then on the 31st of July 2012 Microsoft re-branded Hotmail calling it Outlook.com

In August 2016 Microsoft changed the platform from POP/IMAP to Substitution. • Click the Open button then Finish
• Now wait as it may have a footling while to import all your old email history into your new account
• Once information technology has completed yous may need to wait a while for all the history to stop syncing - You'll know when it has finished when information technology says All folders are up to date (lesser right)

If you successfully carry this out you should run into all your missing emails announced on all of your devices as they terminate syncing.
